Update: March 20, 2026 – 09:42 am.
We’re receiving scattered reports of additional outages. If you see a tree on a line, give us a call. Many of the issues still remaining don’t show up in our automated monitoring systems, because the line hasn’t snapped, yet, so the internet is still running … until the wrong wind gust takes it down.
Update: March 19, 2026 – 10:34 am.
The crews are working on the last few outages and everything should be restored later this afternoon. The storm turned this into a marathon week for the team! Your continued patience is so helpful as the team works to clean up after the winds that took down so many trees and branches. Thanks for being great customers!
Update: March 18, 2026 – 7:57 pm.
We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience! Crews have been faced with trees taking out lines all over the district, with continued winds causing additional outages in new areas just as they got one area repaired. It’s been a wild and stressful couple of days for the team, but they’ve done amazing work!
Most areas are now repaired. One large outage remains in Bethel/Barnard, and there is a small outage in Windsor, and one solo outage in a different part of Bethel. All 3 should be cleared by tomorrow.
Update: March 18, 2026 – 11:45 am.
The wind storm continued to take down trees and branches over night and into this morning. We once again have widespread outages. Crews have been deployed throughout the district. Some areas have electrical outages that require us to wait for the electric company to make it safe to work on repairs.
Your continued understanding is so appreciated. We have some of the best customers in the world, and we’re committed to getting your service restored as quickly as possible, even if the weather has other ideas!
Update: March 17, 2026 – 2:30 pm.
The wind storm played havoc today, but repair crews have been working diligently. We’re down to 6 locations in West Windsor and 63 in Rochester.
A large segment is down and will need to be replaced. Once the power company finishes their repairs, making it safe for us, our team will be able to start work. It is likely to be a long repair, taking most of tomorrow to complete.
